Andrew Wilson is one of Britain’s most distinguished biographers. His debut, Beautiful Shadow: A Life of Patricia Highsmith, was shortlisted for the Whitbread Biography Prize and won both the Edgar Allan Poe Award and the Lambda Literary Award. He has since written acclaimed biographies of Sylvia Plath, Alexander McQueen and Harold Robbins, as well as a compelling group biography of the survivors of the Titanic.
